Our Story

This is our Island, our home. We take the responsibility of taking care of the forest because nobody will do it but us.

Tabi Po Foundation will collaborate with the local community, working hand in hand to save the North Negros Natural Park. Honoring their indigenous knowledge in forest management and at the same time providing sustainable livelihood, food security, and alleviation of rural poverty.

Tabi Po Meaning - in Tagalog it means excuse me or may I pass? These are words addressed to the spirits that live in nature. Because we believe, that nature was here first and deserves to be respected. We must go back to this traditional belief that nature is dynamic and alive and has all the right to be treasured and revered.
